Toolbar Images does NOT display LNK4088 ERROR

Post by shri_fwh »

Hi ,

Compiled the toolbar3.prg samples in MSVC/Harbour env. It executes fine but Images does not display on the Toolbar. MSVC Compiler gives warning LNK4088 ERROR.
Please provide the solution for this. Thanks in advance...!

Shridhar,

I just tested samples/buildh32.bat toolbar3 and it worked fine.

Have you used buildh32.bat to build it ?

#SDKPATH = "c:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A" Commented
SDKPATH = "C:\Program Files\Windows Kits\8.0\Lib\win8\um\x86" Using....

Hi All ,

Could you please let me know whether MSVC expression edition will work with Harbour ? As I have downloaded latest Express edition and installed. It looks like for Windows 8 NOT for Windows 7. Because it does not create the SDK sub folder after installation. Any Idea why it does not create the folder ?

Thanks

Hi Richard ,

On my system this SDKPATH = "c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A" folder does not have any files.
I do not know why ?

So for that I am using this SDKPATH = "C:\Program Files\Windows Kits\8.0\Lib\win8\um\x86" folder. Which is created by Visual Stuido exp edition installation.

Thanks

Hi Richard ,

But If we install 2 Editions on the same machine then we will not be sure that which is version really working. I beleive that MSVC 2012 should work properly.

I do not know whats going wrong. I copied bitmap folder also from FWH folder to my application folder but still it does not work.

Code : FWH/SAMPLES/toolbar3.prg

Hi All ,

Apologize to all. It was my mistake. I had not included the resource file into list so that is why it was not displaying the images.

Now I have included the resource file and it working fine.
