Hello,

First posting.

On your FWPPC information webpage the text...

Microsoft provides a free Pocket PC emulator (ARM emulation) so you can develop your Pocket PC applications on your computer and test them on the emulator. Once they get ready, you copy them to the Pocket PC and use them (you may copy them using a memory card, or any other PC-Mobile connection resource). We provide you a direct link to download the free emulator, so you get sure you are using the right one.

... includes a link which is broken. Does this mean that the emulator is no longer available?

I want to try the "clients.zip" application on my Win2000 PC via the emulator before I decide if I will try the actual FWPPC product.

Appreciate advice on where to obtain the emulator and how to go about using it.

Thanks,

Ross,

The problem is that Microsoft is constantly renaming their web pages and old urls get no longer available :-)

We also use the Windows Mobile 2003 emulator as it is very fast. You can get download a copy of it from here:

www.fivetechsoft.com/files/utilities/emulator.msi (uploading it right now)

The advantage of using the 2006 version is that it provides a text console that it is very usefull for tracing your application using OutputDebugString()
