Finally we have released our new FWPPC software “xWHBiene”. It would not have been able without your help, especially yours, Antonio.
With best regards,

Re: OT: new FWPPC ECR released
Excellent Otto.
It's look very profesional.
Your software is an example how by using [x]Harbour + FWH we can develop, and delivery on time, professional software.
Otto, I have the following questions if you are kindly to answer:
What is the brand/model of the hardware?
What database are you using?
What OS version is running your sofware?
Are you connecting to a remote (and/or local) database or are you transferring file to/from remote database via FTP?
Can you share with us your experience while developing this application? I mean the most difficult parts and how you solved it.
Regards
George

Re: OT: new FWPPC ECR released
Thank you all for your kind words.
George,
>Otto, I have the following questions if you are kindly to answer:
>What is the brand/model of the hardware?
For my purpose at the moment the best device i found is the
HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld Mobile 6.
The LAN if you switch the IPAQ on is found within 4-5 sec and the display is also readable in the sun. These are for us the important things.
What database are you using?
Dbf- files
>What OS version is running your sofware?
We have mobile 6 on the IPAQ and my personal device for testing is the HTC HD2 handy which has mobile 6.5.
>Are you connecting to a remote (and/or local) database or are you transferring file to/from remote database via FTP?
transferring via WLAN - copyfile
I am testing also on the HTC with FTP up- and download. This works nearly as speedy as via WLAN.
We have a ”printserver” software running on a net folder.
Every device (kiosk PC or the pocketPC) is sending the small database files to this folder.
In the first line of the database we write what command the “printserver” should execute:
Store, print, etc.
>Can you share with us your experience while developing this application? I mean the most difficult parts and how you solved it.
We don’t use buttons we use bitmaps and paint them for speed reason directly on the window.
Best regards,
Otto
