Hello Richard, If you simply type Harbour.exe, you will get a list of options. Included are the following: /a automatic memvar declaration and /v variables are assumed M-> In the old Clipper Quick Programming and Utilities Guide I found the following definitions: /a Any variable included in a PRIVAT...

Hello Richard, The problem might be with which source file is getting linked first. Initially I had a similar problem. Try this. In the list of projects on the left side of the screen (see Antonio's image) move the mouse pointer over the project file name (test) and right click the mouse. At the bot...

Richard, Look at the post called Ctags it contains info you are looking for about UEStudio. As per Antonio's suggestion I posted the Build (config) file as text so it would not get lost and I can update it if need be. Currently the Resource Editor has a couple of problems that I have already reporte...

Maurizio, Have you tried to send an email to the makers of UESTUDIO at idm@idmcomp.com? They respond quickly with either an answer or a fix. I have been working with IDM recently to create an improved config file used to build apps using xHarbour, FiveWin using the Borland compiler. I am not certain...

Antonio, I am somewhat confused, could you expand on your answer? It is my understanding that GTWIN is part of the xHarbour package. The HbMake that was installed also forms part of the xHarbour package. HbMake automatically calls GTWIN as well as GTGUI, I am not selecting it. Your response suggests...

Missing GTWIN.LIB
After downloading the FWH 2.8 files, I installed the xHarbour files and attempted to use HbMake. Items I compiled before with no problems now gives me a "Fatal: Unable to open file 'GTWIN.LIB'." Looking in the xHarbour Lib folder that library is missing. I attempted to copy it but got erro...

Badara, In this highly technical world it is very easy to misinterpret what is meant or said. First, you are correct in saying that PageScript 4, currently at version 4.1.0, only works with DOS Clipper. If FW, the DOS Clipper version were added, the combination would work with DOS Clipper. Second, S...

If you are using FW why not give PageScript 4 a try or PageScript32 if you are using xHarbour. There are demo versions for both. I used Pagescript 4 for the past year and the only trouble being printing patterns to a LJ 4 printer. Not sure if the pattern problem exists with PageScript32. A couple of...

OK, seems like my post has spawned a couple of points. First, Antonio, my intention was to see what FW was capable of; hence my interest in the demo. I finally produced a working executable but it would have been nice if FW provided a little more introductory info such as: 1. To use the Demo, you mu...

Hi Gilbert, It is my intention to use xHarbour. Currently my apps are now ported and now work with xHarbour. However, from what I have seen and read, the FiveWin demo only works with 16 bits. I understand their concerns re piracy, but it makes testing FiveWin difficult using the 16 bit version when ...

The FiveWin Demo
Having never used FiveWin before, I am interested in just what it will do for me. As a result I have encountered the following problems, the last of which I am not able to resolve. 1. From what I gather the FiveWin demo is for the 16 bit Clipper. As I only have Blinker 1.0 which came with Clipper, I...
